Take a good grip of my heart, o God, that I may not go astray. Hold me tightly into Your loving arm that I may not fall apart. My flesh fights off your will in my life and I am weakened. Lord, give me a heart that submits to Your will. Give me wisdom that I may know the truth. Let me yearn for righteousness. Holy Spirit teach my heart to obey… I cannot bare the thought of leaving your presence. It scares me…. Take away the grief in my heart and help me, Father, that I may flee from the evil desires of my youth. Amen
